pHILIPPINE emBASSY, pRETORIA PARTICIPATES IN asean DARTS TOURNAMENT 

 23 November 2007 — Philippine Ambassador to South Africa Virgilio A. Reyes, Jr. (10th L) led Embassy personnel and their families in participating at the ASEAN Pretoria Committee Darts Tournament hosted by the High Commission of Malaysia which was held at the High Commission grounds on 17 November 2007.  At the tournament, Minister and Consul General Renato L. Villapando (9th L) scored the highest in the individual category.  The Tournament forms part of the ASEAN Pretoria Committee’s efforts to promote greater interaction between members of the ASEAN Community in South Africa.  The Committee is comprised of the seven ASEAN Missions in Pretoria (Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam).
