8 November 2007—Philippine Ambassador to Egypt Petronila P. Garcia reported to the Department of Foreign Affairs that the Filipino Women's Group in Egypt (FWG), a Filipino community organization in Egypt, donated US$4,000.00 in response to the Philippine Government's call for support for its Classroom Galing sa Mamamayang Pilipino Abroad (CGMA). 

The donation was remitted by the FWG directly to the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) Trust Account of the CGMA Project. 

The FWG donation will be paired with another donation from Filipino organizations in Japan to build two (2) classrooms at the Cabiao National High School in Polilio. Cabiao. Nueva Ecija. 

A simple turn-over ceremony was held last 30 October 2007 at the Embassy.  END
