09 April 2008 - Senior Philippine military officers headed by Lt. Gen. Rodrigo F. Maclang (3rd from left), AFP Commander, Northern Luzon Command, calls on Ambassador Petronila P. Garcia, Philippine Ambassador to Israel, during their visit to Israel. The military delegation presented Ambassador Garcia with a plaque of appreciation from Gen. Hermogenes C. Esperon, Jr., AFP Chief of Staff. The delegation is in Israel from 07 to 12 April 2008 on the invitation of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). They will meet with the IDF officers and representatives of the Ministry of Defense (MOD), and visit the Israeli Air Force (IAF) base and Israel’s Southern Command. END |
