EMBASSY LADIES PARTICIPATE IN FOOD FAIR |

11 April 2008 - Photo shows members of the DFA Ladies Association (DFALA) – Amman Chapter, led by Dr. Milali Torres, at the Philippine booth during the 2008 Asian Food Fair at the Regency Palace Hotel in Amman on 29 March.
The event was sponsored by the Asian Ambassadors' Ladies in Amman (AALIA). Other participating embassies include Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, India, Iran, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Thailand.
Philippine food displayed and sold at the hotel's jampacked hall were ginataan, arroz caldo, leche flan, sapin-sapin, fresh lumpia, palitaw, relyenong bangus, pulburon, yema, puto, pansit, and sago't gulaman.
Proceeds from the food fair will fund some of AALIA’s charitable projects. END
