AMBASSADOR RABAGO PAID COURTESY CALLS ON BANGLADESHI ADVISERS (MINISTERS)

14 April 2008—Philippine Ambasaador to Bangladesh H. E. Ambassador Zenaida Tacorda Rabago reported to the Department of Foreign Affairs that she paid a courtesy call on the Bangladeshi Adviser  (Minister) of the Ministries of Finance and Planning, Hon. Mirza Azizul Islam, on 6 April 2008 and discussed ways for further expanding economic relations between the Philippines and Bangladesh.

 

 

 

On 08 April 2008, Ambassador Zenaida Tacorda Rabago paid a courtesy call on the Adviser (Minister) of the Ministries of Home Affairs, Shipping and Liberation War Affairs of Bangladesh Hon. Major General (Retd.) Mohammad Abdul Matin, to personally thank him for the release of the erstwhile Filipino prisoner in Dhaka city jail, seafarer Wilfredo Rosales.  Amb. Rabago also discussed facilitation of visa processing for Filipinos in Bangladesh, consular visits to detained Filipinos, invigorating trade and investments as well as  cooperation in shipping and maritime matters and training courses in the Philippines for Bangladeshi participants. Amb. Rabago was accompanied by Minister and Consul General Alex Lamadrid. END
