AMBASSADOR MINERVA JEAN A. FALCON ATTENDS FESPO 2008

“The Biggest Fair for Holidays, Sports and Leisure in Zurich, Switzerland”

14 February 2008 - Philippine Ambassador to Switzerland Minerva Jean A. Falcon attended FESPO 2008 at the Exhibition Centre Zurich which was held from 31 January to 03 February. 

The FESPO Holidays & Leisure Fair is the largest public holiday fair in Switzerland. It is held annually at the MCH Messe Zurich exhibition centre and features special thematic areas ranging from Asia and Australia to Russia, Health and Sport.  The highlight of this year’s fair is the special golf exhibition, which hosts almost 140 exhibitors from over 12 countries. 

“This is the first time that the Philippines is participating in FESPO,” said Ambassador Falcon, “and I hope we become a regular participant in this annual event so we can showcase the Philippines and what our country can offer to the world.”

Ambassador Falcon joined Ms. Marie Venus Q. Tan, Office-in-Charge and Philippine Tourism Attaché, from Frankfurt, Germany. END
