LOS ANGELES PCG COMMEMORATES THE 22nd ANNIVERSARY

OF THE EDSA PEOPLE POWER REVOLUTION

26 February 2008—Consul Daniel R. Espiritu, Acting Head of Post, leads the officers and staff of the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles, the Office of the Tourism Director and Office of the Trade Representative, and the public in attendance, in a flag ceremony commemorating the 22nd Anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution. The singing of the national anthem was followed by the recitation of the “Panunumpa ng Katapatan sa Watawat” and the reading of the message of EDSA People Power Revolution Commissioner Alex R. Magno entitled “Reaffirming The Vision: A Community at Peace, A Nation in Progress.”
