PHILIPPINE EMBASSY IN WASHINGTON COMMEMORATES 22ND ANNIVERSARY OF EDSA I PEOPLE POWER REVOLUTION |

28 February 2008 - The officers and staff of the Philippine Embassy in Washington D.C. sang the national anthem and pledged allegiance to Philippine flag to commemorate the 22nd anniversary of the EDSA I People’s Power Revolution. This was followed by brief remarks on the relevance of the occasion and the importance of remembering the democratic ideals that spawned the EDSA I People’s Power Revolution by Ambassador Willy C. Gaa and Cabinet Secretary Ricardo Saludo who is in Washington D.C. on an official visit.
