PHILIPPINE EMBASSY IN ABUJA CELEBRATES 22ND EDSA PEOPLE POWER REVOLUTION

29 February 2008 – Philippine Ambassador to Nigeria Masaranga R. Umpa led officers and staff of the Philippine Embassy in Abuja in celebrating the 22nd anniversary of the EDSA People Power celebration with a flag-raising ceremony at the Chancery grounds on 26 February. After the event, the briefer by EPPC Commissioner Alex R. Magno entitled “Reaffirming the Vision: A Community at Peace, A Nation in Progress” was read. Also in attendance were the family members of Embassy personnel. After the ceremony, a small breakfast was prepared for all. END
