JOB PLACEMENT FOR HOTEL WORKERS NON-EXISTENT IN ISRAEL |
|
29 February 2008 – The Philippine Embassy in Tel Aviv reported to the Department of Foreign Affairs that there are no job openings for hotel workers in the State of Israel. Post warns the public on false information circulating regarding a job order processed in the Embassy for this category.
Everyone is enjoined to immediately report recruitment activities for hotel workers in Israel to the Philippine Embassy or Israel’s Ministry of Labor.
To avoid being victimized by unscrupulous agents and illegal recruiters, Filipinos seeking employment in Israel are urged to communicate with the Philippine Embassy and the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) on the status of employment agencies, particularly whether they are accredited by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), and on the veracity and legality of the job orders. END.
