21 January 2008—Ambassador Willy C. Gaa presents a Certificate of Recognition to Filipino American community leader Ms. Beth Wong at a simple ceremony held at the Philippine Embassy in Washington D.C. on 08 January 2008 in recognition of Ms. Wong’s recent appointment by the Governor of Maryland to the State’s Advisory Commission of Asian and Pacific Affairs. Ms. Wong used to be the Prince George’s County Director for Community Affairs.  END
