WREATH-LAYING CEREMONY ON THE OBSERVANCE OF APOLINARIO MABINI’S BIRTH ANNIVERSARY |

23 July 2008 – The Manila City Government, led by Mayor Alfredo S. Lim, commemorated today the 144th Birth Anniversary of Apolinario Mabini with a wreath laying ceremony held at the Mabini Monument at the corner of Quirino Avenue and A. Mabini Street.
Among those present during the wreath-laying rites were (from left to right): Dr. Ma. Luisa S. Quiñones, Superintendent of the Department of Education in Manila; Dr. Fidel Chua, Officer-in-Charge, Ospital ng Maynila Medical Center; Mrs. Gemma Araneta-Cruz, Vice Chairperson of the Manila Historical and Heritage Commission and Officer-in-Charge of the Manila Tourism and Cultural Affairs Bureau; Mrs. Lydia Mabini-Figueroa, descendant of Apolinario Mabini; Manila Mayor Lim; Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs Rafael E.
