RP-US FRIENDSHIP FURTHER REAFFIRMED   
 

Singapore, 23 July 2008 – Foreign Affairs Secretary Alberto G. Romulo met with United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice at the sidelines of the 41st ASEAN Ministerial Meeting and related meetings today. 


The two Ministers discussed a range of issues including the implementation of a compact agreement with the Philippines, the recent breakthrough developments in the Mindanao peace process and efforts to bring peace and stability to the Middle East. END
