THE PHILIPPINES SHINES AT THE MATTA FAIR 2008 |

25 March 2008 - From 14 to 16 March 2008, visitors to the Malaysia Association of Tours and Travel Agencies (MATTA) International Travel Fair were treated to breath-taking performances by the Banda Kawayan (pictured above) of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), as they deftly performed traditional Filipino and Malaysian folk songs, popular as well as classic standards, and even movie themes using bamboo instruments.
