UNESCO-IHE INSTITUTE FOR WATER EDUCATION IN THE NETHERLANDS AWARDS THREE FILIPINO DIPLOMAS OF MASTER OF SCIENCE IN WATER ENGINEERING AND INFRASTRUCTURE |

07 May 2008—Philippine Ambassador to the Netherlands Romeo A. Arguelles (center, in suit) is flanked by Filipino students who graduated with Master of Science in Water Engineering and Infrastructure from the UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education based in Delft, The Netherlands. The Filipino graduates, namely Adrian Delos Santos Almoradie, Christopher Hidalgo Ornum and Rosemarie Sinsuan Salazar, were among 152 students from 36 countries who received their diplomas for their 18-month course that entailed hard work, multidisciplinary approaches and international case studies. UNESCO-IHE was established in 2003 and carries out research, education and capacity building activities in the fields of water, environment and infrastructure. END
