bangkok visit

23 April 2015 - Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister General Tanasak Patimapragorn made an official visit to the Philippines from April 06 to 07. Foreign Minister Tanasak arrived in Manila in the afternoon of April 06.

On April 07, Foreign Minister Tanasak was formally received by Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada at the Luneta Park, where the former also laid a wreath at the Rizal Monument.

From the Luneta Park, Foreign Minister Tanasak and other Thai Government Officials proceeded to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) for a courtesy call on and a meeting with Secretary Albert del Rosario. 

During their bilateral meeting, Philippine Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert F. del Rosario and Foreign Minister Tanasak discussed matters of mutual concern, and reaffirmed the friendly and active relations between Thailand and the Philippines. They also discussed and exchanged views on how to further strengthen bilateral relations. END
